Jintana Piamsiri (b. 1966, Thailand) is one of Thailand's most noted artists who has won many awards. Having graduated with a Master's Degree in Thai Art from the prestigious Silpakorn University in Bangkok, Piamsiri paints Thai village scenes and way of life with affection and detail. The authenticity of her works speaks for itself. In her depictions of the rural, the way of life is closely bound with nature, and people live their lives with simplicity and warmness. Her expressive rhythmic strokes and harmonious colour palettes reflect a joyful atmosphere.
