Teng Chok Dee's (b. 1945, Malaysia) paintings in ink links back to the artist's childhood memories in Malaysia where he was raised at. Some of his favourite key subjects were lanterns, quilts, bow-ties, little nooks, old walls and plants, which were commonly found. Currently residing in Australia, he is a competent and consistent doodler, making wonderful whimsical drawings that charms.
