irregular geometries is an installation of tapestries woven by students using salvaged waste textiles during a communal weaving workshop facilitated by Singaporean artist Natalia Tan. The workshop, titled Weaving Possibilities: Sustainable Arts for the Future, was part of the 2025 Integrative Fiesta organised by inCISive, the student society for SMU College of Integrative Studies.
This co-created work is accompanied by personal messages from the larger student body, many of which are shared words of encouragement and joy.
irregular geometries is exhibited at Li Ka Shing Library Level 2, Learning Commons, and can be viewed by the SMU Community during opening hours.
